Cirque de la Symphonie returns to Des Moines’s grandest New Year’s Eve tradition by popular demand. Two years ago they brought a sold-out house to its feet on numerous occasions throughout the evening and they are bringing a brand new program to the Des Moines Symphony for their return. Experience aerial flyers, contortionists, jugglers and strongmen in feats of artistry and strength that will leave you breathless. These Cirque performers come to Des Moines from all over the world and the Symphony accompanies them on stage playing some of the greatest hits of Classical music-from Sabre Dance to the William Tell Overture- all with special lighting, sound and choreography.
Please note: only children age 5 and over with tickets will be allowed into the theater for this production.
