Tchaikovsky Gold Medalist Barry Douglas makes his Iowa debut playing Rachmaninoff’s blazing Third Piano Concerto. Then, hear Marquez’s sultry Danzon, which brought down the house last New Year’s Eve. Our Spirit of America season concludes with perhaps the most quintessentially American work—Leonard Bernstein’s West Side Story.
