Join Doktor Kaboom for a sidesplitting, interactive journey that creatively blends theater arts with the wonders of scientific exploration. Doktor Kaboom keeps his audience riveted with interest and rolling with laughter as he undertakes increasingly spectacular, and often successful, experiments and demonstrations. Rooted in the modern scientific method and applications of the physical sciences, Doktor Kaboom! will reinvigorate students’ excitement for science.

Beyond the Performance:
ZAP Program at the Science Center of Iowa
Explore the world of electrons and electricity through the ZAP program demonstration at the Science Center of Iowa the same day as the performance. This science theater demonstration uses a giant Telse Coil and Van de Graff generator to investigate the world of electrons and electricity. This hair-raising experience will really give you a charge! In addition to the program, students and teachers will have the opportunity to explore the Science Center's other hands-on exhibits.
