Bring the whole family to the Civic Center this Easter weekend to watch Ballet Des Moines perform
The Wizard of Oz. The classic tale will not only have original choreography from resident Artistic Director Serkan Usta and Ballet Mistress Lori Grooters, but live music will be provided by the Des Moines Community Orchestra from Kermit Polling’s original score.
This spectacular production will feature hand crafted sets, international costumes and one of a kind stage effects. You will also witness four guest professional dancers from across the country taking the stage next to over 150 of Des Moines’ finest youth dancers.
