Civic Center's Stoner Studio Theater
The Stoner Studio Theater is designed as a flexible-space theater adaptable for a variety of events ranging from small theatrical productions to lectures seating two to two hundred people. The completion of the Stoner Studio Theater in September of 1991 allowed the Civic Center to expand its programming to include more intimate attractions.
Among the myriad of events presented at the Civic Center, many are locally produced by Central Iowa performing arts groups. We are proud to be affiliated with some of the very finest performing arts groups in Iowa, including StageWest. The black box theater holds a maximum of 200 people.
